Nature’s Mountain Playground is home to endless wildlife! From bear and deer, to raccoons and rabbits, you’ll most likely see a few different forms of creatures here in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. Many critters call our vast public and federal lands home, so if you’re out and about, be sure to keep in mind that you’re visiting their abodes! Be sure not to litter or disrupt their spaces, and always be conscious of your impact on West Virginia wildlife.
