The Pocahontas County Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to facilitate and serve as a resource for qualified journalists in pursuit of Pocahontas County related stories and news coverage. 

Through the top dropdown Media menu, you can link to recent news releases with accompanying photos, general quick facts about the area, detailed maps, event schedules, and quality photos of the county’s attractions, activities and outstanding natural beauty. 

Our office is dedicated to assisting the news and travel media through such services as fact-checking for stories, coordinating individual and group press trips, and accommodating special media requests for photography. 

The CVB periodically hosts familiarization (FAM) tours to highlight the county’s many attractions, cultural and historic venues and outdoor recreation opportunities.
