 This festival has become a legend in the mountains of Pocahontas County. The world-famous Cogar Family will be here in the afternoon demonstrating wood chopping like you've never seen! Original country crafts, great sounding music by regional bands, and the best food you can find anywhere. Spend one last day enjoying the yellow leaves before the winter sets in. Fun for the whole family! Meet Ms. RoadKill at 10:00 a.m. at the Gazebo. Last year Smokey the Bear stopped in - you won't know who dropped in this year unless you come see for yourself. The festival features soccer games, harvest games for all,horseshoe pitching, scavenger hunt, agricultural and homemaking exhibits,and much more. A tribute to the musical Hammons Family will take place at the Opera House at 7:00 p.m. Some of the best musicians, both young and old, will entertain you. See ya there!
